Preparation of national technical assessments

National technical assessments

National technical assessments are prepared to enable manufacturers to legalize construction products in the Republic of Lithuania in the following cases, as defined in the Construction Law:

• There are no relevant Lithuanian, European, or international standards prepared for the specified type of product, and there are no plans to develop such standards;

• The assessment method provided in Lithuanian, European, or international standards for the specified type of product is unsuitable for at least one essential characteristic of the construction product;

• The assessment method for at least one essential characteristic of the construction product is not provided in Lithuanian, European, or international standards for the specified type of product.

National technical assessments are carried out by the subsidiary company TICPRO, UAB.
